'Alpha, I need five teenagers with attitude to go to Anime Expo'
by Brad Rice, 04/21/2009

For all of you fans of the Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers, Anime Expo is going to send you on a nostalgia trip with the announcement that they'll be having a Power Rangers reunion and special panel for the group. Much to John's dismay, though, the cast does not include the Green Ranger, who I agree, was the biggest badass of them all.

The members attending will be the original Power Rangers (Red, Blue, Black, Yellow, and Pink), along with Lord Zedd. Besides the panel and whatever special events will entail, the Rangers will be available for autographs, group photos, and fangirling (which I expect John to do), although I would assume glomping would be out of the question.

This panel is now a definite "must go" on my schedule. I can't wait for the chance to see it. Oh, and by the way, press release after the jump.

[Update: So, it's not even a group that worked together. How is it a reunion, then?]
