2nd SRW OG's new PV brings back the Maso Kishin cast
For many years, I have waited for the original cast from Super Robot Wars EX and Maso Kishin: The Lord of Elemental to make an appearance in the main OG universe. And at last, Banpresto reveals their new trailer that shows off each resident of La Gias piloting their special elemental machines. With the power of the PS3's hardware, the inhabitants of La Gias have never looked this GLORIO! To those that are not familiar with La Gias, La Gias is the world where Masaki Andoh started his story that lead to him becoming the pilot of Cybuster, along with the setup that triggered his long hatred for Shu. Other than that, the giant robots of La Gias utilize fantasy-like tech that will make most folks think of Aura Battler Dunbine, Escaflowne, and Break Blade. The 2nd Super Robot Wars OG is set to come out in Japan on November 29th for the PS3. Depending on your devotion to the series, 2nd OG will be available in the regular edition for 8,379 yen (around US $105.00), and the limited edition for 41,790 yen (around US $522.00) that includes the entire SRW OG Inspectors anime on Blu-ray, a Dengeki Super Robot! - Sp OG Official book filled with many GARsome goodies, and a Cybuster card for the Super Robot Wars Card Chronicle social game. And as for those GARsome goodies, the special booklet comes with concept art, photos of various figures and model kits from the series, and a pinup poster that I am expecting to make people's blood boil hotter than lava! Since the game features the option to view the story from the previous OG games on PS2, there could be a very low chance that someone could take a risk in making it go west. Perhaps the best bet is to use power of Kickstarter to see if it has any possible chance of selling overseas. [via ANN] Did you know?
