In case you can't tell from the header image, that's my blonde android lover, Aegis from Persona 3. She's going to appear in From Software's new PS3 title, 3D Dot Game Heroes. Well, not officially, anyway.
The game comes with character editing tools that players will undoubtedly use to recreate their favorite characters in three-dimensional sprite-based form. Promo images for the game even include appearances by Tales of Vesperia's loli pirate Patty Fleur, Vocaloid idol Hatsune Miku, the RX-78-2 Gundam Mobile Suit, Cloud Strife from that Final Fantasy VII TV show, and some old guy named "Snake".
Users are even exchanging design templates using a net program called Q-Block, which already features greek anti-heroes like Kratos, tsundere witches like Louise Francois de la Valliere, and just-tsun witches like Bayonetta's Jeane. From itself is actually distributing more characters from its official site.
Now, while I'm mildly disturbed by the notion of strange gamers distributing my spouse's character data to take on pixelated adventures, I cannot look ill upon any device that allows me to view that other lovely android, KOS-MOS.
