3DS version of E.X. Troopers might lack online co-op
In this week's issue of Famitsu, Capcom's upcoming Lost Planet spinoff, E.X. Troopers gets a great little two page spread that shows off some of the co-op functionality in both the 3DS and PS3 versions of the game. Under the PS3 section, Famitsu hypes up the online functionality and how you'll be able to partner up with three other players to complete missions. Voice chat will also be available, making for easy communication. Under the 3DS column, the local three player multiplayer is hyped up. Unfortunately, there's absolutely no mention of online multiplayer for the 3DS version of the game. As far as I'm concerned though, that's as a clear a sign as any that Capcom isn't looking to include it in the final version of the game. This bodes very poorly for the upcoming Monster Hunter 4 but I'm crossing my fingers that I'm wrong on this one. Did you know?
