It's Over!

Well folks, it looks like we encountered an unexpected turn of events in the J-tor Arena. Despite Zoro's victory over Masamune, Masamune refused to accept his defeat. Since Zoro was having trouble searching for the exit to leave the arena, Masamune charges at him with his faithful steed. Luckily for Zoro, a Supersonic Duck comes to his rescue. As we see both swordsmen run through the arena, the speed and power of both fighters shatter the foundation that we worked so hard to build -- I guess that's what happens when you hire cats to do construction work. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to see who won the fight, since I had to focus on the current battle that was going on. Either way, this battle doesn't count, due to Zoro winning fair and square. Back to the main battle, Ray MK III remained standing as Anna seemed to have been broken by Ray's Dragon Shots. Ray MK III wins! (3 > 0)

Railgun’s second season has premiered already, so I’m going to give you guys a shocking battle this week. She ranks as the third strongest Level Five Esper in Academy City, and she’s often referred to as Zapper. Get ready to hide your electronic devices, because Mikoto Misaka from Index and Railgun is going to shows us why Kuroko idolizes her. Our next opponent is someone who has been in battle for quite some time. Not only can she control electricity, her powers are able to command the weather as well. Going by the title of Weather Witch, X-Men’s Storm is here to show us that Misaka's powers are only good for zapping bugs. In order to make this battle fair, Storm’s abilities will be limited to the ones shown in the X-Men anime.

Your votes and persuasion skills will be the power source in this lightning filled matchup. Be sure to add a +1 to the character that you side with, since it will make it allow us to tally up the scores while we try to dodge lightning bolts. The battle will go on from today till Wednesday, so make sure that your votes go up on time. Alright people, it's time to head to our seats, because the lightning show is about to begin. And don't forget to stick around for the beginning of the next fight to see who wins.

Science! Why tsundere girls are appealing

Why do guys like tsundere girls? Surely going after a girl that doesn't abuse you seems a lot safer? Is there some reason why guys will go along with the verbal barrage (other than the obvious reason)? Yoshihito Naitou, ...

Finally, Familiar of Zero is getting its final season

I didn't think it would happen, to be honest. I had assumed that J.C. Staff and the rest of the world had moved on to concentrate on planning out future episodes of Railgun or Index or working on something like Heav...

Happy Birthday, Asuka Langley Soryu! Tsundere Day 2010

Let's celebrate Megurine Luka's 20th birthday!

She's twenty today, and is also celebrating her first full year as an idol. Quite the talent, Luka's bilingual, dresses well, and belts out her songs in a moody-yet-husky feminine voice, which serves to enhance her cool, myst...

We've got a winner for our Tsundere Day contest! photo
We've got a winner for our Tsundere Day contest!
by Brad Rice

Hey, all of you, listen up! We went through all of your favorite tsundere entries and finally picked a winner. D-despite the kind gestures of some of you for voting for me, the winner is darksorrow29. He wrote his entry about Taiga, a woman you all know I have very special feelings for.

N-now, it's not like I particularly liked y-your entry or anything, darksorrow, especially since you were an i-idiot baka and put all those spoilers about Toradora in there, but everyone on staff really liked your entry and s-so it's not like I thought you were particularly special or anything. Geez.

A-anyway, since you had the "best entry" and all, I-I guess you could come over tonight. S-since I'm making you drive all the way to my house to get the shirt, you may as well stay a while. I'm not sure what we could d-d-do, but we c-could figure something out...

Also, just so everyone can see how much of a filthy otaku you are, your entry is down below after the jump. Thanks to J-List for providing the shirt and helping us out with our Tsundere Day coverage.
