Yo, it's time to show off some work from artist Eko. Look at that sick ass work! Unnf! Goddamn, that's pretty...

A lot of Eko's stuff is just fan-made, like Madoka Magica, Mysterious Girlfriend X, Robotic;Notes, Steins;Gate, Guilty Crown and more, but each one has his own style to them. Fairly simple, yet still gorgeous, Eko has a unique way of drawing characters and clashing colors that immediately catches the eye.

Check him out on his Pixiv... or hit the jump below if that's your thing. Whatever, it's not like anyone's judging you secretly or anything.

Welcome back for another week of Artist Alley. I'll keep the art flowing so long as you guys keep gobbling it up, so today we should give it up for u283.

Artist I feature typically don't have more than a few dozen things uploaded to their Pixiv accounts for me to show off, so when I say that you should check out u283's Pixiv account right here if you can't get enough, I mean it; this guy has almost 300 pictures and they're all awesome. It's something about the lanky, tall proportions that goes into the character design and faces that I really dig, but it's also the way he clashes colors that's way cool to me.

Not that I have to use too many words to describe how unique Ninth Holiday Flower's paintings are, but man: I love her work. It's as if you took the work of Stephen Gammell and made them... cute and colorful

I can't even begin to build suspense: check out her Pixiv here and her Tumblr if that's more your thing and prepare to be amazed.

Wow...

It's weird, but so far on these Artist Alley posts, I haven't promoted an already established artist or an instantly recognizable name. Absolutely, it's awesome to spread the word about criminally underrated talent, and I'm doing what I can to-- most importantly-- show you guys genuine quality art, but after all that I'm looking to expose to you as many different styles and vast practices numerous artists employ while making their sick-ass stuff.

So if I can be a little bit greedy, today's post is about one of my favorite artists of all-time: Shirow Miwa. Obscurely, you may know him for illustrating the manga Dogs, though (and more probable) you may recognize him as a the designer and illustrator of the band Supercell. His original work with Hatsune Miku, as well as the fan-made stuff he's done for things like Monster Hunter, Persona, Street Fighter, Devil May Cryand more, are just far too incredible for my simple words... you just must get an eye-full for yourself.

If you're liking what you're seeing (how can you not?), Miwa has a website that you can peruse about, as well as a Pixiv gallery full of crazy, delicious stuff

Yeah, weird name for an artist, huh? That's what I thought at first, but I honestly couldn't care less with art like this backing it up. This stuff is incredible.

It shows that Candy Village specializes in scenic pieces, though it's the depth of field and splash of color in the backgrounds that brings life into their work. Sure, it might not compare to stuff seen in Makoto Shinkai films, but I like the simpler (comparatively) things from Candy Village in its own way. There's something about teenage girls staring into nothingness that fancies me, I guess... Check out the Pixiv account here, and more pix under the jump.

This is it. Our last, but certainly not least artist featured from Collateral Damage Studios. Haimerejzero may be a mouthful to say, but his art sure is pretty to look at. Not only that, but you've got some variety, too: you have some Black Rock Shooter, some Saber, some Liam Neeson... I think if there's one thing Haimerejzero has perfectly nailed down, it's his selection of what to draw and create. Did I also mention how damn pretty it all was, too?

Once again, thanks to the folks at Collateral Damage Studios who collaborated with us to help each other out. And be sure to visit their site, buy their stuff, follow their Pixiv account, whatever you can to show support if you love the work these guys do as much as we do. Hit the jump for some Haimerejzero, and stay tuned next Monday for the regularly scheduled Artist Alley.

We are rolling along with more art from Collateral Damage Studios, and today I'm honestly excited to show off some work from TC, founder of CDS. Just look at this stuff: there's a level of detail within the watercolor-esque pictures here that just makes each thing look so impressive. There's subtle blur, harsh exposure and tricks with the coloring that makes each piece have it's own incredible amount of feel and polish when looking at them.

Now, aside from the art, if there's anything that I can praise about TC's work, it's the material that he draws from: stuff like Cencoroll, Ghost in the Shell, Madoka Magica, some Warhamer 40K (!), and a lot of Asuka Langley... it's almost like this stuff was catered for me to love the crap out of this dudes art.

Don't miss out on this stuff: there's nearly a hundred other pieces on TC's Pixiv account, but if you're too impatient for that, quickly catch up on some of the highlights below the jump.

More coverage from the cool people at Collateral Damage Studios, and our artist for today goes by the name WaHa. His work is so goddamn good, but I'm upset that I can't find more of it! There's a few pieces that date back to the early days of Lucky Star and Touhou, but each one is still timeless. The thing is is that there isn't enough! Dude, don't sell yourself short... no need to be shy about your stuff, it's great!

Be sure to check back (again) tomorrow for more awesome talent from CDS, and to check out WaHa's art below.

We're continuing our Collateral Damage Studios coverage this week, and I must say that I am honestly thoroughly impressed with this talent. Case-in-point: Xeph

Recently, I've been kind of numb to highly detailed colored art after seeing so much of it in such a short span... but Xeph's work made me stop and truly try and appreciate this stuff again. I mean, it may be far beyond the artistic capabilities of myself, but he makes it just looks so easy. Some of

This week is a special one for Artist Alley... we here at Japanator are running a special promo with (hopefully for us) our future friends at Collateral Damage Studios that will run all week long! Here's a special introduction from the studio itself:

Collateral Damage Studios is a Singapore-based doujin circle that was founded when a bunch of artistically inclined friends decided to do something new.  With lofty aims of conquering the local art scene and the excuse to draw pretty anime girls (or guys) all the time, the circle had grown over the years to include a diverse team of illustrators and had done plenty of doujins / fan products for fans and otaku. The crowning glory of it all is the Superscenic 2 artbook that collects the original and commissioned artworks that the team had done from 2010 to 2012.

Tonight, we're featuring a few samples from the entire collective so you can get a lick at how talented these artists are. Talented people come to us so that we can give it right back to you guys, so it's a win-win for readers! Hit the jump for art pleasures and check back in tomorrow!
