Code Geass: Akito the Exiled #2 gets a full trailer

I liked the first volume of Code Geass: Akito the Exiled way more than I expected myself to. It struck a good balance between the dramatic bits and the more lighthearted stuff. I'm also a huge fan of Orange's CG work, and Ak...

Code Geass: Akito the Exiled episode 2 is looking good

I'm the last person you'd call a fan of either Code Geass TV series. I will however say that I think they're beautifully animated pieces of television that I don't regret watching, even if the actual story and cast did nothi...

It's over!

Ladies and gentlemen, we have reached an unexpected result. Yu threw out the swag and godlike Personas, but Sakura countered with every card at her disposal. The two kept going for a good while; however, both contenders decided to call it quits. With the battle coming to a draw, Sakura and Yu have decided to become best buds. No one wins! (13 = 13)

Apologies for the slight delay, since the J-tor Arena went through a massive power outage. But no need to worry, as things are back to normal. So let's have an explosive aerial mecha fight, as we introduce our next set of opponents. Coming back from a battle against the Lunar Empire of Giganos, Kaine flies into the ring with his Dragonar-1 Custom. And hoping to change the holy empire of Britannia from the inside, Suzaku is ready to test out his Lancelot Conquista. Only one flying unit will come out alive, and it will take both good weaponry and mobility to come out victorious.

Your votes and persuasion will determine the superior robot in this match, so choose wisely. And for the sake of easy counting, remember to add a +1 to the fighter that you vote for. Since today's match is a bit late, the voting period will go from today till Thursday, so make sure that your vote goes up on time.

Code Geass: Akito the Exiled Blu-Ray trailer is hot photo
Code Geass: Akito the Exiled Blu-Ray trailer is hot
by Hiroko Yamamura

If you aren't sure wether or not you wanted to import the Blu-Ray release of Code Geass: Akito the Exiled Volume 1: The Wyvern has Landed, the exciting new trailer might change you mind. I haven't really followed this OVA series yet, but on style and art work alone, I know I need to dive in. The 3D Knightmares look pretty damn slick!

The Blu-Ray and DVD will be available in Japan on January 29th, starting at ¥5,040 for the regular DVD and up to ¥7,140, for a limited edition Blu-Ray. What's most interesting is that the Bu-Ray will feature English subtiles, while the DVD will not. The questions is wether to import, or wait for the eventual domestic release.
