Weekly Wallpaper 27: Infinite Stratos photo
Weekly Wallpaper 27: Infinite Stratos
by Ben Huber

So, you guys like Infinite Stratos, eh?

Don't worry, I won't hold it against you.

Kidding, of course. I'm sure Infinite Stratos is a good show.

Positive.

This week's wallpaper features fanart by S Tanly, and out of all the art I was browsing through, I think it was the bright pink that caught my attention, and the sweet art that kept it. Be sure to check the rest of his Pixiv profile as there's even more awesome work on there!

Weekly Wallpaper 26: Madoka Magica photo
Weekly Wallpaper 26: Madoka Magica
by Ben Huber

Greetings, lonely traveller. You've stumbled upon the mysterious feature known as Weekly Wallpaper, in which you vote for your favorite show to be featured in a brand new digital wallpaper each week. Will the wonders of the internet never cease!?

This week you guys voted outstandingly for Madoka Magica, this season's most-watched series. Probably. I don't know really, I'm just guessing. Since you folks wanted something other than just Kyubee-bashing (why would you ever want that?!) this wallpaper is focused on Sayaka, Kyouko, and Homerun-chan. The art for all three characters is done by Murasaki Heizu, and the logo was vectored by SciFi.

That art was so awesome, how could I not use it?

Weekly Wallpaper 25: Baccano! photo
Weekly Wallpaper 25: Baccano!
by Ben Huber

Welcome to the slightly late edition of Weekly Wallpaper! My week was super busy so some things fell through the cracks. Don't worry, though, I'm back in the swing of things now!

Last week you guys all voted a good deal, especially for Yumekui Merry. However, to my surprise, Baccano! came out on top in the end. Awesome! So, when making a Baccano! wallpaper you encounter a terrible problem: which character do you focus on?! You could make a group wall, but even then you'd probably miss a few characters here and there. So I opted instead to just pick one character, which was also difficult, since there's so many great characters in Baccano!, but I ended up going with an old mainstay: everyone's favorite well-dressed shotgun-wielding psychopath, Ladd Russo.

If some of this looks a little familiar, don't be alarmed! This is called recycling. It's good for the earth. I swear.

Weekly Wallpaper 24: Kore wa Zombie desu ka
by Ben Huber

Another week, another wallpaper, another anime I'm not watching and have to Google info on.

You voted last week in the comments overwhelmingly for Zombie, with only Baccano! coming close. Although, I saw a few people calling out for 20th Century Boys – keep fighting the good fight! Our time will come.

Featured on this wallpaper is Seraphim, and the wonderful art is done by Datougodees (who has more excellent work on their Pixiv).

I also couldn't help but include a little bonus wallpaper, too. Check that out below the break along with all the usual sizes.

Weekly Wallpaper 23: Touhou photo
Weekly Wallpaper 23: Touhou
by Ben Huber

Touhou won this week, guys. Well, Darkwing Duck did have more votes, but sadly, I'm keeping this feature anime-centric so I went to second place. Maybe I'll make a Darkwing Duck wallpaper some other time.

So, here's a Touhou wallpaper. It has one of the many girls on it, apparently her name is Hakurei Reimu. The sweet fanart was done by Rokuwata Tomoe.

I had to get lots of advice on Twitter to figure out which character to select. So...

Yup.

We had almost 50 comments last week! Let's try to keep up that awesomeness and be sure to place your vote!

Weekly Wallpaper 22: Bakemonogatari photo
Weekly Wallpaper 22: Bakemonogatari
by Ben Huber

I'll be honest, after I said for you guys to go wild and vote for Touhou or whatever, I expected it to come in first by a large margin.

Instead, it got second by one vote to Bakemonogatari. What? I didn't realize Bakemonogatari was still such a hot topic. Oh well, I won't complain! I really like the series and was one of the people who supported it when it first came out. Too bad it still hasn't been licensed. Anyway, here's a wallpaper featuring some excellent fanart by Coffee-Kizoku!

All the usual sizes are after the break and don't forget to vote for next week!

Weekly Wallpaper 21: Birdy the Mighty: Decode photo
Weekly Wallpaper 21: Birdy the Mighty: Decode
by Ben Huber

The time has finally come, my friends: Birdy the Mighty has gotten a wallpaper. I will stop bugging you now. Go ahead and vote for your Toohoos or whatever your little hearts wish, I am content.

For this wallpaper I vectored a piece of official art. "It looks pretty simple," I thought to myself. Oh, my past self, not that simple. Many hours later, the results are now present on your screen. Enjoy the orange-and-blue, high-contrast goodness.

All the usual sizes are after the break (plus 1024 x 768 now) and don't forget to vote for next week!

Weekly Wallpaper 20: Catherine photo
Weekly Wallpaper 20: Catherine
by Ben Huber

Last week the votes came rolling in, and it was a dead heat between Catherine and Outlaw Star. In fact, they came in a tie at the end and I had to flip a coin to decide the winner. I'm sure you've figured out which one won.

I went for a grittier look this time around (not my usual stuff), but I thought it fit the content better. And tell me I'm not alone in preferring Katherine to Catherine (looks-wise, anyways)? Either way, what better way to hype the game than cover your desktop with luscious, sexy goodness?

The usual sizes (plus 2560x1600 now!) are after the break, and don't forget to vote for next week!

Weekly Wallpaper 19: Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica photo
Weekly Wallpaper 19: Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica
by Ben Huber

In honor of those fallen (and because it had the most votes as well), this week the wallpaper is themed around Madoka Magica!

This show has quickly become my favorite show airing this season. Seems most of you guys are pretty passionate about it too: the only thing that got close to Madoka in votes was Durarara!!, and even then it was several votes behind. The character on the wallpaper is Mami, along with her many muskets. I was pretty happy with how this one turned out, hopefully you are too!

Weekly Wallpaper 18: The World God Only Knows photo
Weekly Wallpaper 18: The World God Only Knows
by Ben Huber

I have a confession guys, I have not watched The World God Only Knows.

Yet, that didn't stop me from making a wallpaper for you all about it! TWGOK came in first last week, so I did my best to bring you something cool. This particular piece of official art I found nice and a little melancholic as well, so I decided to use that. I also noticed this dude sorta looks like a young Miles Edgeworth. How classy!

Overall, a lighter week, but hopefully you guys will still enjoy it.

All the usual sizes are below. And don't forget to vote for next week!

Weekly Wallpaper 17: Persona 4 photo
Weekly Wallpaper 17: Persona 4
by Ben Huber

The power of the people! You voted en masse last week, and Persona 4 got the highest amount of votes (barely beating out Birdy! I'm proud of you guys, normally Birdy wouldn't get that many votes).

What we've got here is Izanagi, the initial Persona for the Protagonist in the game. His role in the story is actually way more in depth than that, but I won't spoil that here. His character design is really badass (as are ALL the character designs in Persona 4), so I ended up using him as the focus. This particular piece of stellar fanart that I used is made by Pixiv user RED. Amazing work from him, so be sure to give him some lovin' on his Pixiv page.

All the usual sizes are here below the jump. And vote for next week, too!
