Sometimes I get desensitized to awesomeness. I have a great job at Japanator and other news outfits. I get to read amazing manga, play great video games, watch crazy anime, and listen to hot new music. Sometimes the overload of goodness puts you in a place where you just don't appreciate things the way you should.
However, when legendary mangaka Naoki Urasawa stepped on stage with Hemenway at Japan Expo 2012 in Paris, I pretty much turned into a 13 year old girl at a Justin Bieber concert. I mean I lost my collective sh*t. I was literally looking up at Kenji Endo belting out a cover of T.Rex's 20th Century Boy. It was a moment, seriously. If you don't get it, and aren't feeling this one, I have nothing but sadness for you.
I'm still buzzing from this show! Make sure to keep your eyes peeled for Brad Rice's exclusive interview coming up, as well as another little video tidbit I think you are going to enjoy.
