Not only is "Tank!" one of the coolest anime themes ever, for a lot of folks, it may be the first and quite possibly only anime theme they've listened to. And if they started with Cowboy Bebop and spent the rest of their anime-watching lives trying to chase down "stuff like Cowboy Bebop" to prove to themselves that "anime is cool", more likely than not they've found little but disappointment since.
