A Daily Dose of Music: The Classics
After a brief break, The Daily Dose returns in full swing! This week your favorite Japanator editors break down the videos they consider classics. As twisted as some of these choices may be, these are the tracks we go back to time and again. Turn your speakers up for this trip down memory lane! Kristina Pino - V6 - Change the World - Inu Yasha "While Inu Yasha might not be the most "classic" of classic anime, the first time I can recall digging a show's opening theme enough to go look up the band (which so happened to be a boy band), find the music video and then watch it over, and over, and over again - was with this song. It blew my mind that Japan had boy bands, and it pretty much opened up a world of possibilities for me, and led to my discovery of other artists like Maaya Sakamoto (Record of Lodoss War led me to that one), GACKT (who DOESN'T discover this man at some point in their lives?) and more. It helps that the song is pretty and catchy to boot (just as pretty as the guys that sing it)." Did you know? You can now get daily or weekly email notifications when humans reply to your comments.
