A Daily Dose of Music: The Classics

10:00 AM on 09.19.2012

After a brief break, The Daily Dose returns in full swing! This week your favorite Japanator editors break down the videos they consider classics. As twisted as some of these choices may be, these are the tracks we go back to time and again. Turn your speakers up for this trip down memory lane!

Brittany Vincent - Rhapsody in Blue - Da Pump

"I used to run a little online radio station over at Live365 when I was younger and it was still free to be a DJ. I even created my own promos and spots, and my playlist consisted of songs I had heard on other Jpop stations. I happened to hear Feelin' Good It's Paradise by Da Pump previously and dug it, but then I heard Rhapsody in Blue and was completely hooked. It's such a goofy, happy song, and I can't help but grin when I hear it. Reminds me of my earlier days when I was unhealthily obsessed with Vegeta of Dragon Ball Z. Oh, I meant to say I still am unhealthily obsessed."
