A-Kon '09: Legal in Japan Edition

It's 2 am and I'm here in Dallas and tired as f*ck from driving all day. You ask why I'm in Dallas? For A-Kon 20, you silly goose. The oldest running anime convention in North America, A-Kon, is celebrating its 20th year and Japanator is here to cover it. Sadly, team Japanator isn't as big as last year since it's hell week for the Modern Method network at the moment.

This year, team Japanator is represented by myself and a Mr Tim Sheehy, who is sleeping soundly in the other room (or is listening to his Twilight audiobook on his iPhone). I just wanted to give you a small slice of what's to come in the following days from all the shenanigans and cosplay foolery that's gonna be going down, much like in the picture above where a character from a severly whored-out franchise is getting owned by a character from a franchise that is actually awesome again.

Check back frequently for updates from the con. I'm going to bed now. I'll be taking pictures of good cosplay as well as terrible cosplay. Tell me if there's something you want to see at the con and I can maybe make it happen for ya.
