A-Kon is out to beat the Guinness game cosplay record

You're going to be at A-Kon 19 in Dallas, Texas, right? We are, and some of us will be cosplaying as videogame characters to help them out a bit.

What would we be helping by cosplaying game characters? We would be helping this anime convention to beat a Guinness Book of World Records record for the "Most Video Game Costumes in One Place." Right now, the title stands at a measly 80 people, from a British convention. We know they can beat that, and we want to be there when they demolish that record.

A-Kon will soon announce the date and time for the judging event, but they have the rules for the costumes up now. Basically, don't come as Batman, as he appeared in other media before videogames. Any character that started in a game first is fair... game.

So, come and dress up. Join us at A-Kon and make history.
