My day-to-day life reveals little spurts of stress. Like a stress rollercoaster. I'm good, and then I'm pissed. Good, then pissed. Right now? I'm good.
Japan, though. Man, I'm worried about Japan. A recent survey, done by MyVoice, shows that Japanese are quite stressed. Out of a sample size of about 15,000 people, nearly 75 percent of people asked said that they were at least a bit stressed. About 24 percent said that they were "totally stressed out," which, if is anything like my high points of stress, is not good at all.
When asked what specifically they were stressed about, most pointed to work and school relationships, almost 50 percent. And 38 percent cited money. Strangely enough, 3.1 percent cited nursing care as a stress source. What?
As far as stress symptoms go, most just said that they get irritated easily. About 30 percent get bowel problems. [snicker] Hot flashes, hair loss, ears ringing, and other problems were also listed. Yikes. To cope with this stress, it seems that many Japanese do exactly what I do to calm down: drink (19 percent) and eat (25 percent).
Man, I feel stressed out just knowing how stressed out they are! I'm in despair!

This is likely meaning the young taking care of all the old family members. I had that problem till my father passed away, I'm not stressed anymore.
