Maybe you were already planning to buy the Blu-ray release of Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children after hearing about the Final Fantasy XIII demo that comes packed in with it, but if not this news may sway you. The Final Fantasy VII spinoff anime On the Way to a Smile Episode: Denzel (adapted from the novel) will ship along with Advent Children as a bonus. Kasushige Nojima's series of three novels cover what happened to Tifa, Barret and Denzel between the events of Final Fantasy VII and Advent Children (read it here if you haven't already). A-1 and beSTACK were behind the production on this anime adaption.

If you preorder Advent Children, you'll get the three novelettes along with individual character ones for Red XIII, Yuffie and the Turks.I had managed to resist from preordering it as it'll set you back a whopping $53 even before shipping, but hearing this is also included makes me think I ought to reconsider passing it up.
