Time's running short for me here. There's a new mission coming up, and we're about to depart. So, I'll get through your questions quickly. It seems like you sniveling kids keep coming to me with problems that could easily be solved by you just learning how to be a man already.
Next week, we'll have a new member of the team taking care of your questions. I'm not quite sure who the hell he is, but he describes himself as a "hot-blooded man." Sounds like he needs to be slapped into line.
Before I go, I would just like to say that it has been an honor to serve as your captain. I hope that we will be able to meet again sometime in the future.
Captain Bright, Lieutenant Makoto Yamamoto reporting, sir!
I have a problem I would rather not involve another captain in, but things have gone too far. My superior, Captain Justy Ueki Tylor, is just too irresponsible! He has little regard for proper procedure, the importance of disciplined troops, and maybe even the fact that we are at war. It is only by fortune that we are still alive. Lt. Commander Star slaps him on occasion, but it seems to have little lasting effect. It is a first mate's duty to support his captain, but I must also see to the wellfare of the crew.
(ring, ring!) Ah, my cellphone. (click) Hello? What's the matter, Lt. Commander Star? What? The Captain got the Empress of the enemy aliens pregnant? You are just too irresponsible, Captain! Excuse me, Captain Bright, I have an urgent matter to attend to.
-Lieutenant Makoto Yamamoto
Captain Tylor and I went to school together. I see the ol' bastard is doing well for himself. While he and I have very different commanding styles, I do own the man my life. His reckless attitude has gotten him in trouble more times than you could believe, but he manages to pull through in the end.
I'd like to meet up with Captain Tylor for drinks sometime. Once he gets out of this whole pregnancy mess, I'm sure he'll be free. Oh, and before, you leave, I have one other thing to say:

Never speak ill of your captain. He is the man who bears the burden of keeping you safe.
Captain Bright!
*incomprehensible mumbling and sobbing*
-Kira Yamato

Don't you want to protect the world? Then man the fuck up or let me pilot the Strike Freedom Gundam.
Commander Bright!
I have an urgent question of utmost importance for you! The very fate of the Earth Federation hangs in the balance with it's answer! What camera should I upgrade to?
Should I get a used Canon 1D MarkII and some lenses, or a new MarkIII and 1 lens? Or should I just wait till the MarkVI comes out next year? Then again, just last week Nikon announced the D3s which can go up to ISO 102,400 and has 720p video, which is really tempting... Or I could just get a Sony a900 and be able to use the lenses I already have...? Then again I could get an old Hasselblad 203FE medium format film camera...
I just don't know anymore Captain! My view has become so foggy that I'm not able to pull the trigger!
-Confused Cameraman
Son, the only shooting you need to worry about is your standard-issue rifle. I can understand that you might have some hobbies, but you shouldn't let that get in the way of your duty here to-- wait a minute. Are you one of those goddamned embedded journalists?
Look, I am out here risking my life, and the lives of all of my men in order to protect your lifestyle. So don't you come in here and screw up my operations all so that you can get that big story of yours! I'm not going to stop you from getting your ass shot, but so help me god, if you reveal our position to the enemies when we're trying to launch an ambush, I will Brightslap you so hard you'll travel back in time.
Commander Bright,
Why did you hit me?
-"Tears"

Commander Bright,
Where do you get all that power from, that you can put so much into your slaps and punches?
Batthink
I get it from my love of Earth. You must have pride in where you've come from and who you fight for. That's why my Brightslaps are as powerful as they are.
Does your elevated plasma temperature result in increased erythrocytic necrosis? If that is indeed the case, how do you solve the problem of decreased oxygen flow to your synaptic tissue?
