I could have sworn I'd already written about
Air Doll as it's easily one of my most anticipated live action films right now, but I couldn't seem to find any trace of it in our archives. The film was adapted from the
Yoshiie Gouda manga of the same name and tells the story of a blow-up doll who comes to life and develops feelings. No doubt it's going to be a heart wrencher, but for anyone lucky enough to be attending the Toronto International Film Festival this weekend, you can catch a screening of there as it will be aired three times between the 13th and the 19th.
Also showing there this weekend is the live action adaption of the
Sanpei Shirato manga
The Legend of Kamui, which you can see the trailer for after the jump. I'm interested in both films, but admit that
Air Doll is the one I'm really dying for. Are you interested in seeing either film?
