Air Gear manga ends in five chapters

Apr 06 // Bob Muir

It's been running in Weekly Shonen Magazine since 2002, but it looks like Air Gear is finally ending. An announcement in this year's 19th volume of the magazine says that Oh! Great's manga will be ending in only five more chapters. That's as soon as this May!

Then again, fans can't say it hasn't had a good run. There are currently 35 collected volumes, with a few more certainly on the way. Plus, there was that 2006 anime adaptation and the occasional OVA. Is anyone really disappointed, or do you think it's time to put this series to rest?
