Anime Expo '08: Even the early cosplay is good photo

The power team of Tim, Gia and myself are here at the first day of Anime Expo 2008, bright and early. Of course, there's nothing going on yet but cosplay in the hallways of the Los Angeles Convention Center. So, I've snapped a few photos during my wait to get into the massive dealer's room.

Some highlights include a rare Quistis cosplay, cute Kingdom Hearts couple, Ran Ran Ruu's evil counterpart, Prince Peach, and a nice Saber.

I have to say I've seen more "skankish" cosplay at Otakon than at all the AX's I've been to (1999-2003).

Now that I'm almost 1/3 older than many anime fans attending conventions, I think to myself, "DEAR LORD, WHAT IS SHE WEARING!!!" more often than I do "OMGSOHAWT!11"

(Except during the cosplay burlesque show, that is. Time and place, me-friends.)
