With all the Anime Expo announcements, I feel like I'm never going to sleep while I'm there. Good thing Dale and Tim will be by my side to help tackle all the news and goings-on. Getting a chance, though, to sit down with a bunch of fans and watch the first Gurren Lagann film is a must. The film will be screened on the first night, Thursday, at 7:30pm and will be subtitled, so be sure to check for it in the convention schedule.
Now, the other announcement is that they're bringing the character designer of Mobile Suit Gundam 00 and is the creator of Loveless -- you know, the one with all the cat-boys. She'll be one of the big guests Anime Expo has lined up. I'll be sure to solicit questions from you guys once we get closer to the con, but I'd like to ask her about what it takes to design memorable characters, and if she'll ever be able to live up to the likes of Char or Master Asia.

GURREN LAGANN the MOVIE Childhood¹s End is the first of two (2) films in which the title¹s sequel is currently on theatre screens in Japan.
GURREN LAGANN the MOVIE Childhood¹s End- is directed by Hiroyuki Imaishi, written by Kazuki Nakashima, Animation production by GAINAX (Neon Genesis Evangelion and FLCL) and shares the creative staff from the franchise TV series.
