AnimeNEXT moves to June 20-22, 2008

AnimeNEXT is moving forward, both figuratively and temporally:

By popular demand, AnimeNEXT 2008 will take place at the Meadowlands Exposition Center in Secaucus, NJ on June 20 to 22, 2008, the weekend after Father's Day.

Carlo Darcelin, the AnimeNEXT convention chairman for 2008, said, "We are glad to announce that we are moving our dates back to June. Due to
popular demand, we are moving it to the weekend after Father's Day. With this change we hope to please the majority of the con goers and have the con at the best possible time for everyone."

Well gee, the best possible time for me would be when it's held roughly 1200 miles west of New Jersey. Ah well.

Maybe this time DMV can explain to the Japanese panels the finer points of yaoi paddles and about how we Americans like to wear eye-patches and say "Shiver me timbers!" a lot and eat puppies. (Oh, that might make more sense if you read this first.)

There is still no word on just what to expect at the con. I recommend just wandering around Jersey asking random people where to find some Pokemen.

Thrill to the full release after the jump!
