Aniplex hosts Madoka Magica Meet & MGreet in Los Angeles

(Well, it's just "Meet & Greet," but if you couldn't tell, we here at Japanator are ardent admirers of alliteration.)

If you're near Los Angeles on Friday, February 17, you should drop by Aniplex's Madoka Magica Meet and Greet celebrating the February 14 release of the first English Blu-ray and DVD volume. ("This Valentine's Day, give your loved one a sweet gift that spirals into nightmarish damnation!") The event will be held at Anime Jungle #1 in Little Tokyo at 8:30PM.

Fans can meet the voice actresses for Madoka (Christine Marie Cabanos), Mami (Carrie Keranen), Kyubey (Cassandra Lee), Sayaka, (Sarah Williams), and Kyoko (Lauren Landa). There will be a question and answer session, and if you bought the first volume, you can bring proof of purchase to get autographs. Personally, I'd advise just bringing the first volume and getting that signed.

It sounds like a fun event for Madoka fans, so save the date! I'm considering dropping by myself, but what about the rest of you Angelenos and those from the surrounding area?
