Armored Core for Answer is a wet dream for mecha otaku everywhere

Personally, I’m not much of an Armored Core fan myself, but after watching the above video I think Armored Core’s fan base just got one new member. Armored Core for Answer is a sequel to Armored Core 4, and will take place 10 years after it. As you probably noticed, the best part about this game are the massive enemies you will have to take down throughout this game. They are called Arms Forts and will have to be taken down piece by piece in order to destroy them.

Another awesome addition is the ability to equip an auxiliary high-speed booster called Vanguard Over Boost, which will drastically increase the gameplay’s speed. One of the reasons why I didn’t like it before was that the gameplay just felt too slow; I like my 10000 ton mech to be travilng faster than a fighter jet, damn it!

Also, approximately twice the number of parts featured in Armored Core 4 will be in this new installment. This will be released on 19th of March in Japan for both the Ps3 and the Xbox 360; though the North American release is still up in the air. Check out another trailer after the jump.

Another trailer showing more gameplay (about half way through)
