At last, 2nd Super Robot Wars OG gets a winter releaseNot to be confused with Super Robot Wars Original Generation 2 for the GameBoy Advance, the 2nd OG game is a sequel to the OG series that follows up on Super Robot Wars OG Gaiden's ending. It also turns out that 2nd Super Robot Wars OG is going to be released during the winter season in Japan. However, let's be prepared for another delay, since the game was suppose to come out on September of 2011. Since it's been a while since we have heard anything related to 2nd Super Robot Wars OG, a new set of images have been approved for take off. A sniper rifle axe -- you heard that right, two new machines that might act as a counterpart to the Koryuoh and the Ryukooh, and more of the original cast making a comeback result in more heat than your blood can handle -- I think I might be getting a stroke here. Let's face it, the game is not going to get a western release. The main reason is because most people are going to be confused with the story, since the 2nd SRW OG game will continue from where Super Robot Wars Original Generation Gaiden left off. If they were to bring over the 2nd SRW OG game, then they would have to release a digital version of the two SRW OG games for the PS2 on the PSN and localize them for the west. On the bright side, the game is coming out for the PS3 so you can still unleash your inner soul at the images below. [Famitsu via Andriasang] Did you know?
