UPDATED: Sentai Filmworks announced today via press release that Highschool of the Dead, the boob and zombie-filled anime airing next week in Japan, has been licensed!
They will be releasing it in North America in both dubbed and subbed versions, but no specific timeframe was given. Though they've been around for a while, Sentai has recently been licensing shows such as Xam'd (with Section 23) and seems to be making a true effort in getting a solid foothold in the industry.
Not only that, the Anime Network will be streaming the show on their site, beginning July 5th at 12:00 AM CDT!
After all that brief speculation, it seems we now have the full picture, and what a pretty one it is! Stream the show and watch it now, then pick a full dub later. Sounds good to me!
Sentai's press release after the jump.
