Badass! Kenka Bancho to get a movie adaptation photo

Folks up-to-date with the Japanese PSP scene will know that Kenka Banchou 4 is coming out, but some new information's entered the flow that just might brighten up the day for Banchou-loving badasses.

At the recent "ChunSoft x Spike Great Harvest Festival" event, Spike announced that the franchise would be getting its very own film! Happy days were had by all, as the release is set for sometime in the Spring of 2010.

Word was not yet sent on actors or even whether the movie would be animated or live-action, but I know that I will be sorely disappointed if characters are not, at some point, shown shooting laser beams out of their eyes.

Given that Kenka Banchou 4 is being treated as such a big event by Spike, I hope that Atlus' publishing Kenka Banchou 3 in the US (as Kenka Bancho: Badass Rumble) proved successful enough to warrant the sequel.

DO F'ING WANT!

!!!
FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUC-
THAT'S AWESOME!

But seriously, really hope that does warrant a second release here in the states. As one of Japan's last remaining bastions of masculinity, this news is quite badass to hear.
Spring 2010 is close! I hope the production quality is good.
This is win.

Sorry for this blasphemy, but I'm tired of those animes where school girls fight and their clothes disappear after one punch. I want an anime/movie about fighting and badassness for a change, not about boobies all over the screen. Just one, please!
