Must...have...babies. Must...have...adorable...otaku...babies.
Oh, sorry- this news item has been interrupted by my maternal instincts. I guess I'll stop planning Sailor Moon costumes for my future children in my head and actually tell you what the hell's going on.
Wonderful folk that they are, Bandai is putting out some infant clothes based on anime and tokusatsu themes. Calling them 'cosplay' may be a bit of a stretch, since these are functional baby clothes that your kid could presumably wear anytime, but they can certainly serve that purpose. They come in both 70cm and 80cm sizes, and will be available for purchase sometime later in the month of February for the reasonable price of 1,029 yen.
Actually, I'll level with you here: since I have no idea what baby clothes normally cost in Japan, I have no idea if that's a reasonable price or not, but seriously- look at them. That's a small price to pay for this amount of cuteness. I mean. look at the Devilman costume!
This post has been brought to you by Bandai, alafista.com, and Karen's biological clock going tick-tock-tick. You're welcome.
Of course, this puts me in a bit of a dilemma. If I'm ever lucky enough to be a father, should I dress my kid like Batman or Kamen Rider? I DON'T KNOW WHICH TO CHOOSE!
