It seems the Beat Crusaders' music crusade may finally be coming to an end, at least for the time being. Having posted a message on their official website, the band explained to fans that they'll be splitting up after their final performance in September.
The group didn't provide a reason for the move, only citing the difficulty of trying to do so. However, it's important to note that they didn't use the term "breaking up." Instead, they went with the phrase "spreading out." I imagine this means that the members want to take some time and try new things, which isn't so bad if you think about it.
I know a lot of you might know their work from shows like Beck and Bleach, and it always sucks when one of your favorite Japanese bands split, especially when haven't had a chance to see them perform live. On the bright side, I've noticed that many Japanese acts tend to reunite when the individual members fail to achieve the same level of success that they've experienced before. So, you never know, they could always get back together. Stranger things have happened.
