Since our resident Ikemen afficianados aren't here today and are busy with more important things, the responsibility falls upon me to keep you all up on some hot Japanese guy news. News comes to us from ANN that the shounen rock anime Beck is getting the live-action treatment and is getting an all ikemen cast!

Starting off the delicious male cast of this adaptation is Hiro Mizushima (Hana Kimi, Zettai Kareshi) as the cool Ryuske Minami and Takeru Satoh (Bloody Monday, Kamen Rider Den-O) as the protagonist Yukio Tanaka aka Koyuki. More ikemen join in such as Kiritani Kenta (ROOKIES, Ryuusei Kizuna), Nakamura Aoi (Q.E.D. , Shinigami no Ballad), and Osamu Mukai (Atashinchi no Danshi, Nodame Cantabile). 

Beck is one of those music-oriented manga that really benefits from an anime or live-action adaptation since we get to actually experience the music that cannot be easily conveyed in print. I think its cool that the male cast of the adaptation are familiar faces but what I'm really wanting find out are the female who are surely going as pretty as the boys. No homo.
