If you love bishies (or beautiful men) like I don’t, then be prepared to scream or at least clap enthusiastically because the shoujo reverse-harem game Heart no Kuni no Alice ~Wonderful Wonder World~ will be made into an OVA. The game is one of those non-adult, juice bar, kind of games too cool to be a hentai one; but it still has lots of kissing and/or yaoi-centric scenes because this one is made for a more female audience. As you guessed, this game is based off of Alice in Wonderland, featuring bishies versions of all our favorite characters from the story.
The best part about this, as Gia points out, is the casting for this OVA. Well, it isn’t set in stone because Gia is assuming that the game’s cast will stick with it and remain in the OVA; but it is almost 95% certain.
• Katsuyuki Konishi, or Gurren Lagann’s Kamina will play Mad Hatter • Jun Fukuyama or Code Geass’s Lelouch plays the role of Tweedles Dee and Dumb… somehow. • Tsuguo Mogami in his first major role: the March Hare/Elliot March • Yuuko Kaida (Hevlaska in D.Gray-Man) as the Queen of Hearts/Vivaldi • Kouki Miyata (Kyo Kara Maoh!’s Ken Murata) as the White Rabbit/Peter White • Takehito Koyasu– one of Japan’s most prolific seiyuu, Gundam Wing’s Zechs, One Piece’s Admiral Aokiji –as the watch seller/Julius Monray • Daisuke Hirakawa (School Days‘ notorious Makoto) as the Ace of Hearts • Noriaki Sugiyama (Bleach’s Ishida, Naruto’s Sasuke, Fate/Stay Night’s Emiya– what a trio) as the Cheshire Cat/Polis Erei • Kenyuu Horiuchi (Metal Gear Solid’s Raiden, Yakitate!! Japan’s Brad Kidd– and, interestingly, he’s listed as Brad Pitt’s dub voice in general, among others, on Wikipedia as Merry Gourand
