That wheel of fate just keeps on turning. As some of you might know, I am in fact a huge fan of 2D fighting games. I own pretty much every recent release and typically spend a solid chunk of time in arcades on Saturdays. I owe this renewed love of the genre to the original BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger, released a few years back. These days, I wait for each new update and release as if I were some kind of addict. 

Which is why BlazBlue: Continuum Shift Extend has me particularly excited. Huge balance changes, new moves, a brand new character in the form of puppet master Relius Clover and more story content makes this a purchase I can't possibly avoid. Up until now we knew that the game would be launching alongside the PS Vita, but we now have confirmation that the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions will be releasing the same day. Well, in Japan at least.

I had a chance to go hands-on with the arcade version of the update this past weekend and had a great time, so I'll certainly be picking this up. In the meantime, I better get some Hakumen practice in. Don't want to get left behind!
