Some notes: I don't mention it but you can kind of tell the box is shiny and laminated and the books are matte. The worrisome popping I mentioned is the from the last few pages of both volumes which are barely attached to the super, are noticeably looser and I could see the whole signature coming out after a lot of use. Really the only reason this didn't get 5/5.

If you've read my previous community blogs you know I'm on a neverending quest to get my boyfriend to like anime and manga*. It's a slog. This is another attempt to get him to read a manga (or any comic, really.) He's excited because he loved the film (he ranks it right under Laputa as his favorite,) so this may pan out.

*I, uh, just accidentally republished that. Sorry. Flash forward to earlier this year: He loved Brotherhood after giving it another go! He even took me to see The Sacred Star of Milos in theaters.
