About
Marcus is a dude who says anime is for nerds and nerds look good with a fist in their eye socket. His idea of having fun is being that guy you'd buy a beer for first, then wax anime wisdom with later. He (un)ironically listens to gangster rap and chicano, loves awkward comedy, digs the cheesy, high school anime rom-coms and can edit a mean video together using computer wizardry. Also, I'm pretty sure he can mop the floor with anybody in an old-fashioned game of Super Smash Bros. Melee. Samus Aran. All day, err' day, baby.

He likes Production I.G., Madhouse, Corgis, Mega64, Seattle, Kenji Kamiyama, Canada, Detective Conan, Mac Dre, Amp Energy Drinks and loves Takako Shimura manga. He also reeeally loves terrible YouTube videos.

He hates North Korea, memes, itchy shirts, broken legs, Hetalia, Toddlers and Tiaras, and Zack Snyder

Hey everyone! Just giving a heads-up to say that I will be attending Sakura-Con 2011 here in Seattle, WA this three-day weekend, and I wanted to take this opportunity to try and meet with whoever is going to this fine anime/manga/video game/other shit convention!

I don't want to look at this as a get-together, where we all travel with each other to go eat out at a Denny's or rob a bank or something. Instead, I'm simply here to mention that I will be filming some stuff (mainly cosplayers and interviews of random folks) around the convention all week long. Now, if anyone would be so kind as to gather around and converse with other Jtor community members, or if you want to be interviewed or filmed, then I would be most appreciative to catch up with what you've been doing at the con and get to know each other a little bit.

Because I don't want to make myself look like an asshole craving attention, I should mention that I'm probably only going to be filming for a few hours a day in between panels...and it looks like they're going to be all at around the same time each day, too. These times would be around 2:00-4:30 PM for Friday and Saturday, and maybe 2:00-3:00 PM on Sunday at the Main Hall (right outside of where the main stage is for concerts, next to all of the escalators leading into the gaming area). I'll be the asshat wearing aviators and mercilessly making fun of people with terrible cosplays. I'll also probably be wearing something ironic, like a t-shirt that says "Ore no Cosplay", because I think I'm the funniest fucking person ever.

Anyway, if I could at least get to talk to one of you guys during my stupid filming, it'd be totally worth it! Seriously, if you see me anywhere, at any time, mention something about Japanator and I'll get you some smoothies or something.

PS: If you're going to dress up as anything related to Team Fortress 2 this year, I swear to God.....

Damn you America.
Can't make it. If you're going to AX then we can talk.
I still have yet to go to a single con.
Already here! See you tomorrow!
As much as I’d love to meet you and shake your hand far longer than either of us would be comfortable with, I sadly cannot attend.
I wish I had the time to go :( have funto those that make it! maybe next year...
Awesome! Someone just recognized me leaving the K-ON! concert today! Try and keep it up, you guys! The dude I met with was really hilarious! :D
Should've paid more attention to this post. I was totally there.
I looked around each day and couldn't find you.
