Blood: The Last Vampire film pulls in $103,000 on opening weekend

Blood: The Last Vampire film pulls in $103,000 on opening weekend photo

Opening in 20 theatres this past weekend, the live action Blood: The Last Vampire film garnered $103,000 -- an average of $5,150 per theatre. Not a terrible opening for a film of this size.

The film has met with mixed reviews from the press, and I can't help but say I'm not surprised. I always take an optimistic approach when it comes to adaptations of anime projects, even though I know it's doomed to failure. I'm kind of like Destructoid's Jonathan Holmes when it comes to Wii games.

Well, the majority of us just need to wait until the DVD release to form our own opinion. But in the meantime, why not check out the trailer once again?
