Japanese sludge rock lords Boris will be kicking off a US tour at the end of this month. They'll be pummeling Chicago first, setting off a shockwave of thundering drums and droning guitars that will reverberate out through the mid-west, send California into the ocean, then shoot over to the east coast where it will gradually disperse into the sea to rest once again for another thousand years.
They will be performing along with Kurhara, who they collaborated with on their latest album "Rainbow." Also along for the ride is Damon + Naomi.
They'll be hitting the Triple Rock in Minneapolis, a venue I've played at myself. Unfortunately it's rather small for such a massive band and the sound is a bit wonky, but fans should never the less be treated to a face meltingly good time.
Check out the full set of dates after the jump, and more info on the band here.
