What do Dragon Ball and Super Robot Wars now haven in common? The letter Z. Yes, this week’s Famitsu just announced the newest game in the franchise, Super Robot Wars Z for the PS2; proof enough that the PS2 is not dead, not just yet. Super Robot Wars Z has a different series list than most SRWs, seeing how a majority of the series listed so far are newbies to the franchise, like Aquarion, Eureka Seven, and King Gainer. Finally Gundam SEED Destiny makes its debut in a SRW, hopefully they can do some cosmetic surgery to its story.

Gunota Headlines reports that the series list, listed below is not the complete series roster; the rest will be published in the next issue of Famitsu. Gunota also states that one of the anime not listed this week is a series that is very nostalgic and has never been in a SWR game before.  So far, Super Robot Wars Z roster is:
