Burn away your dread! Persona 3 FES enters the PSN photo

I swear, there is never any sort of bad news when it comes to Persona news. Starting next week, Persona 3 FES is going to be available as a PS2 Classic in North America on the PSN for only $9.99. That's right, $9.99 will be the price to grab your evoker and release your inner self.

While there is option of getting Persona 3 Portable, the game did eliminate the animated cutscenes from the game for some odd reason. So buying Persona 3 FES will allow you to witness these cutscenes. However, you will have to deal with a combat system where your party members are controlled by the AI. As long as you screw around with the tactics properly, you won't have much of an issue with the party members performing foolish commands.

FES may not have the option to play as the female main character, but you do have an extra mode known as the Answer. The best part is that it is available from the start, except that it is recommended that you play it after beating the main game known as the Journey. The Answer itself offers around 30 extra hours of gameplay, which is worth it in my opinion. If there was one turn off about the extra mode, it's that the Answer mostly focuses on dungeon crawling. Thus making it similar to the main Shin Megami Tensei games, and the increased difficulty might discourage most players.

If you are more interested in the rest of the cast, the Answer does offer some extra segments in that department. You have no excuse to miss out on Persona 3, and you cannot go wrong with a lengthy game that cost $9.99.

New Etrian Odyssey: Millenium Girl vid shows off Simon

I really excited for Atlus' Etrian Odyssey remake, hitting Japanese 3DS' on June 27. The fact that they're including a classic mode for folks who don't want a full blown RPG story strikes me as a smart move. In my case? I'm ...

Prepare yourself for more live Persona music

You know how all those band anime or other performance/sports shows all have their protagonists listing their ambition as "Going to the Budokan"? It's a popular cliche, seeing as the Nippon Budokan is perhaps Japan's most ic...

New Etrian Odyssey has a new story-filled trailer

I wasn't all that surprised when Atlus announced that they'd be giving the original Etrian Odyssey the remake treatment. Truth be told, I had been hearing rumbles and whispers that this might happen for quite some time. ...

Licensing GET: Sentai grabs the Devil Survivor 2 anime
