Busted! Saber's image was stolen by a French book photo

No matter how hard you try to cover it up, you cannot bypass the power of those who call themselves Type-Lunatics. Thanks to their dedication to the Nasuverse, they were able to spot the culprit's evil deed in an illustration found in a French guide book on Japanese conversations (You can thank your fellow fans from Japan for this one.). They even went through the lengths of tracking down the original illustration that might have been the victim of this crime (Now that is what you call true dedication.).

Whether you are a fan of Type-Moon or not, it is disappointing when you see cases like this happen in the world of art. I understand the importance of gathering references for working on your pieces, but copying and/or tracing the reference work is out of the question. To think that there are honest hard working artists that are still trying to make a name for themselves, and yet this person gets away with this act of disgrace.

Then again, this also tends to be the case in most of those so called How to draw Manga books. Heck, I remember coming across a reference book that shows off various designs of so called monsters from anime and manga, and all of them were basically ripoffs of the designs from Pokemon, DigimonFinal Fantasy, and Disgaea. The main difference however is, that most of these books do not copy the complete designs of the original creations (I did not track down the original works to compare them, so I could be wrong. However, they are still ripoffs by the way.).

You can see for yourself in the images below if the culprit is guilty, or if this is all just a coincidence (Aka a ripoff.). To all you Type-Lunatics out there, should this person be imprisoned, or should they face the judgement of the mighty Excalibur.
