Isn't that just some wonderful news for our neighbors to the north? Death Note was planned to air at 10pm and 1:30am on Canada's YTV, a haven for watching anime. Now, it looks like that won't happen anymore, as the show is now being replaced by Inuyasha at 10pm, and Eureka Seven at 1:30am.

YTV hasn't given any official wording as to this, but the information popped up because they've changed around their schedules for the first two weeks that Death Note is planned to air. We'll see if they give any word later on. Let's hope for the best with our Canadian neighbors!

Update: After contacting YTV, they said that they haven't confirmed broadcasting Death Note on their station as of yet. Looks like you'll have to wait even longer for the glimmer of hope, Canada.
