Check out the Final Fantasy 25th Anniversary Ultimate BoxSure, you're a Final Fantasy fan. You own every single mainline game. But do you own them all in a fancy box with custom Amano art on the discs? And with a whole load of other cool goods? Coming December 18 in Japan, the Final Fantasy 25th Anniversary Ultimate Box comes packed with a whole load of goodies for only ¥35,000. That's only US $446.04 at the time of writing! (Let's not think of the shipping, of course.) The bundle comes with the PlayStation versions of 1, 2 and 4 through 9, the PS2 versions of 10, 11 and 12, the PS3 version of 13 and the PlayStation Portable version of 3. Interestingly enough, only FF7 comes as the International version, ignoring those versions of 10 and 12. The included version of 11 is Vana'diel Collection 2. But wait, that's not all! It also gives you a mini-replica of the artwork Yoshitaka Amano did for the 25th Anniversary, a visual art collection titled "Crystal Art Works, anniversary video disc, a two disc musical selection, and a code for a "Mog Mog Earring" in Final Fantasy IV. There doesn't seem to be anything out there about anything coming outside of Japan for Final Fantasy's 25th anniversary, but if you would be interested in this it would actually must be reserved by September 30th. I know my wallet is trembling and scared. (via Andriasang) Did you know? You can now get daily or weekly email notifications when humans reply to your comments.
