Classic Gym Leaders return to Pokemon Black and White 2

Pokémon Black and White Version 2 is kicking it old school by bringing back the classic Gym Leaders from the RedBlue, and Yellow days. While the Kanto region is not open to players again, you will get to battle the old Gym Leaders in a new event known as the Pokémon World Tournament. You can expect Brock, Misty, Giovanni, and Gary/Blue/Green to make a come back. Based on the other characters shown in the header image, we might get to encounter every League Champion and Gym Leader that has ever existed in the history of Pokémon.

In other news, Landorus, Tornadus, and Thunderus will get new forms that will give them different stat properties. Cheren replaces Lenora as the new Normal Gym Leader, and Bianca is the one that delivers the starter Pokémon to you from Professor Juniper's lab.

I am happy to hear that N might play a role in the story again, since the game is hinting at his unknown whereabouts.

Now that I think about it, this might also give players the chance to fight the main character from the first Black and White. Since Pokémon Black and White Version 2 is a direct sequel, we cannot rule out this possibility.

You can look forward to these features and more when Pokémon Black and White Version 2 arrives in North America during the fall. Make sure that you challenge the images below the jump.
