And I'd most likely give the second copy to my best friend Sami~ 8D
If I won one of the prizes I would definately share it with my best friend Loni. Like me she is a complete otaku and we love to travel to different conventions together. She is practically a sister to me. She has been going through a terrible time in her life, and through our friends and anime she has been pulling through it. She loves to forget about the real world for a little while and get involved in the great story lines just like I do. I would love to be able to share such an awesom gift with her.
I'd probably share the second copy with my mom [Oh yes, she has her own anime collection] since she'd be really excited.
I would give any second copies to my friends, might as well give them something ;p.
It's the 18" computer screen that I got last christmas, because it's still in its packaging. XD Never opened it because I also got a laptop, not to mention the other computer was only used when necessary. Oh, and I can't remember the last time we turned that computer on. :D
I would definitely give the second copies to my best friend, Jay; he's a huge anime fan, just like me. So it'd be nice to give him something anime-related for being a good friend for the past 6 or so years. ^^;
I'd give my second copy to my best friend, though. He stuck with me through and through during high school, when I was essentially a social pariah, and I've never really thanked him properly for that. Possibly in perfect tsundere fashion.
And what do I get the next week for Christmas? My awesome aunt!
I'd probably give the second boxset to my sister.
:)
I'd probably give the other copy of my prize to my roommate. He's a casual anime fan, and I've been trying to get him into other series for a while, now. "Baccano!" would be a great title for that! :D
As for the second copy, I'd give it to best friend since he's the only one I know who likes anime aside from myself.
i was 14 at the time, and its been 5-6 years since then, but i still will always remember that christmas ^^ cause its not about the gifts under the tree, its about all of the family coming together and enjoying each other company while forgetting about the worries of daily life
I won a Pokémon contest to get Mew in a Black Friday contest at Toys R Us, but didn't have Pokémon. I begged my parents for both Pokémon and a GameBoy Color all A Cristmas Story like. During Christmas I opened my presents and saw that my younger sister got one and a bunch of games.
I tried my best to not act jealous, well, the best an 8 year old could. After breakfast, I got on the computer to go on the internet. I took out my chair and what did I see? 3 Presents! Frantically unwrapping them to reveal a Game Boy Color, Pokémon Red, and Mission Impossible. I then noticed that the Pokémon box was already opened.
Curiously opened the box to find that the cartridge had a Mew sticker on it. I asked my mom about it and she said that she stole my voucher for Mew and went to Toy's R Us to redeem it. Needless to say, I was ecstatic that I was the only kid on my block to have a legal Mew. I still got the GameBoy Color and the Pokémon Red with the Mew sticker.
If I win this I would give the second set to my brother. He's in college, in another state no less, and because of that can't buy anime anymore. I'm positive he'd love it.
My family had moved out of the state where I was born and went in every christmas to celebrate with family. When visiting my aunt she gave me a game boy pack, that I still have, that contained the Game Boy and a copy of tetris that I still play when bored, even if it is a bit dusty.
I would share my copy with either my friend Jaden or Sterling. Depending on the anime title of course. They both like different genres and I seem to be the middle ground between the two. We've all known each other since Freshman year in High School, where they dubbed me "anime andy". It's been great getting to know them, eating sushi, watching anime, playing video games, and going to anime expo together. I think this would be the next step in our relationship. Please help me continue our friendship! =]
I would totally give my second copy to my best friend and fellow otaku Jordon. God I love our weekly anime discussions.
That would probably be back when I was a young'n, I got Pokemon Red. This was during the craze of Pokemon, which I knew nothing about other than talk from my classmates. So, I decided to ask Santa for it so I could try this rumored "awesome game". It was an amazing experience. I became hooked on that little thing. Soon after that, I actually started watching the series. That little game basically made me the anime fan I am today.
And I would randomly send them to a friend I haven't talked to in a while who lives in another state. I'm sure she'll be so surprised when she find a bunch of anime on her doorstep from an old friend :)
