Corpse Party 2 will scare your socks off this winterI stumbled upon Corpse Party for the PSP a few months before the game ended up getting picked up XSEED Games. I had done a little bit of reading on the game's history and was looking for something to pass the time before the next big release on my schedule. I didn't have much in the way of expectations, so I'm sure you can imagine my surprise when I ended up incapable of focusing on anything but Corpse Party. It's an amazing game on so many levels and if you haven't checked it out already, go read Chris' review. I never got around to playing the side story release, Book of Shadows, but from what I hear it isn't quite a proper sequel. At least not in the way that the PC sequel Corpse Party 2: Dead Patient promises to be. Releasing in Japan at this year's winter Comiket, Corpse Party 2 takes a brand new cast of high schoolers and dumps them into a haunted hospital. There isn't much in the way of details at this time, but one look at the trailer reveals new 3D environments with some measure of camera control. If I wasn't going back to America for Christmas, I'd be first in line at Comiket. Who else is hyped for this? Please tell me I'm not alone. With XSEED having stepped into the PC world with Steam, my fingers are crossed that they snatch this up. Check out the trailer after the break! [via Siliconera]
