ARE YOU READY TO RUMBLE?

You're not? Okay, I'll wait. Hurry up, will you? Geez...

Ready now? Good, because All Anime World has just launched their annual Cutest Anime Girl contest. From now until the 7th of December, anybody can submit their favorite female anime character for entry. Any girl from any series is eligible, except for those that have won a previous year's contest. The most popular entrants will appear in a poll, which will run from December 7th to January 1st. The winner of the poll will be declared the cutest anime girl of 2009.

Will this contest fill the void left by Saimoe? Only time will tell...

Since it's highly probably that a K-On! girl will take home the gold, I'm thinking of throwing my support behind Ritsu. Who will you vote for?

First off, Setre has the right idea concerning the Higurashi ladies. Rena is superior, always.

Secondly, if we're looking for cutest character, anyone who dosent vote for Yuno from Hidamari Sketch dosent know the meaning of the word cute.

I love how people mostly just commented about the K-On header picture. It's that badass.

K-On gets way too much love. I love cute girls more than anything, but I can't watch an anime if thats the only thing it offers. Header pic is great, though.

I'm tempted to vote for Kafuka Fuura.

This contest puts a halt of some girls, because of the whole "cute" thing. Haruhi, for example isn't very cute.

Yui will win this one, hands down. Ritsu wouldn't know what cute is if it hit her in the face with a drumstick (sorry Jon).

Last, header image is so full of win. There really isn't a 1920x1080 version? :(
