Danganronpa is headed to iOS and Android in May

Spike Chunsoft's crazy adventure game for the PSP, Danganronpa, will be making an appearance on iOS and Android devices this May. The game is going to be split into separate episodes, with the prologue and first chapter being free and every following one running you 500 yen. For those of you who dislike buying things in pieces, you can just spend the 2000 yen and get the whole game.

What the hell is a Danganronpa you ask? It's an adventure game following a group of high school students who get locked in their school as they are forced to kill each other in order to escape. The game plays like a mix between the Ace Attorney games and a bullet hell shooter. Sounds crazy right? It is.

The whole thing is extremely Japanese in the best of ways, though that very quality makes it extremely difficult to localize. A pity, considering the game is fantastic.

For those of you that have already played through it, you'll be pleased to know that the sequel, Super Danganronpa 2 will be hitting the PSP in July. Huzzah!
