Despair, for Sakura Wars is pushed back a week photo

It seems your dreams of being both Broadway star and pilot of Star-class transforming steam-powered Spirit Armor suits will have to wait just one more week, as Sakura Wars: So Long, My Love's release date has been pushed back from March 23rd, 2010 to March 30th, 2010.

Don't worry though, because as promised, it's coming to both the PS2 and Wii. The PS2 premium edition will come with a Japanese voiceover disc, poster, and art book, while the Wii edition will come at a highly agreeable $29.99 price point. That's a lot of value for when you do pick up the game! And you will pick up the game.

To tide you over until the day arrives, you can check out the opening movie below.

noooooooo god why? one week? NOOOOO!

in all seriousness...we've been waiting how long now? one week is nothing as long as it doesn't have any bugs.

also, this probably has something to do with FFXIII.

As much as I'd like to put the Wii to use, I'm going to just pick up the ps2 version for the Japanese voice over disc.
Strey: Although I'm usually the sort to default to the original voicework, hearing the trailers made me have a change of heart. The voice acting in this is so cornball that it actually becomes -good-! Plus, since the game takes place in America, it contextually makes sense.

Also...it's been pre-ordered on Amazon for over a month, so it'll get here when it gets here. :P
I'm still not very far on my copy with the first game. Maybe that can change.
ittoujuu: Really? When I listened to the trailer that was on amazon, I didn't think it was too bad, but when I think of how that will work out during the gameplay, I think it would take away from the experience when I eventually just want to slap the woman voicing the character screaming: "WHO TALKS LIKE THAT?!?" But yeah, there's currently a rather large backlog of games growing, so I don't necessarily mind if this game is delayed a couple of days, though it's rather unfortunate that Resonace of Fate comes out the day after it.
Oh, man, that's annoying. I already have it pre-ordered. My April is looking very busy, I'd prefer to have it that week early to get some good playing time in.

I called it: AKB rage video a hoax

Remember when that one AKB48 fan seemed to go a little bit crazy in video format at the news of Yuki "Yukirin" Kashiwagi's alleged indiscretions? Back in that post, I wrote that I "sincerely hope that this an attempt to paro...

Sigh: PlayStation 4 can't transfer your PSN purchases

While most of the news surrounding the PlayStation 4's official reveal has been positive - or at least neutral - the new console's first genuine bummer has just hit. Sony has just confirmed that current-generation PSN ga...

I really hope this Wota's reaction to AKB48 is a joke

Unsurprisingly, the rain of "scandals" continues to pour on AKB48, this time due to Yuki "Yukirin" Kashiwagi having the temerity to attend a group party with *gasp* men in it, just days after the now-infamous "Mii-chan Affai...

Cosplayer Protip: Don't let bigots ruin your hobby

You'd think that we'd have had enough of nerd "facepalm" moments in the last few days, but it's always worth calling out internet jerks. To shrug and say "Meh, internet" is letting them win. That's the case with one Chak...

Some jerk's vendetta gets Kuroko's Basket banned

Never underestimate the power of otaku. Now, I'd like to say that that phrase is some kind of testament to nerd ingenuity or some other super cool thing, but the tone I must adopt this time is one of warning, that this is onc...
