The new TV series just ended, wrapping up with the announcement that the next Haruhi film, The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya, would open in Japan in the Spring of 2010. There's no details on the film yet, but they're going to pop up eventually on the show's official webpage.

This means that we'll see it even later. It almost feels pointless to talk about it this early, actually. But news is news, you know.
