Discotek bringing Hana Yori Dango Final movie to the US, along with others

Discotek bringing Hana Yori Dango Final movie to the US, along with others photo

I have never heard of this company but it seems they will be bringing over movies that many of us would like. This isn't the only movie Discotek will be releasing, though. They will be reissuing the live-action film that was adapated from the horor manga Uzumaki by Junji Ito in September, as well as the anime series Crying Freeman sometime in the future. They have plenty of more that they will be releasing throught this year.

Hana Yori Dango is one of my most favorite shoujo series ever so it's pretty exciting to see that they want to bring the live-action over to the US. While this is pretty exciting, it's kind of weird also because I feel that people should see the television drama first before seeing the movie. I haven't watched the movie just yet only because I didn't finish the series but I feel that people will be completely lost from watching the movie alone. Either way, I'm sure most of the people who will purchase the DVD will know about the series to begin with. Discotek said that the their DVD release for Hana Yori Dango will be on August 25th, 2009.
