Do you have what it takes to get published in Weekly Shonen Magazine?

Sounds like a rad opportunity

For a good while, I've always been behind the idea of contests that let people get the chance to get their stories published if they win. Speaking of which, the Comic Website MediBang is teaming up with the folks at Weekly Shonen Magazine, the publication that Hajime no Ippo and Fairy Tail are serialized in, to hold a contest where anyone in the world can enter to win the chance to have their own story published in the Weekly Shonen Magazine App.

As for the other prizes, the other winners will get the chance to have their comic critiqued by one of Weekly Shonen Magazine's editors. Since MediBang held a contest like this with the folks at Weekly Shonen Jump, it's nice that the company teamed up with another manga magazine to make this contest happen again.

The contest started on Oct. 13, 2016, and people have until Jan. 12, 2017 to submit your entry. If you're interested in learning how to enter, you can head here. Of course, I'd like to wish everyone the best who decides to test their skills and luck with this special occasion. To those who love to draw, are any of you planning to enter?
